Chalcogenide glass is a glass composed of sulfur, selenium, tellurium and other elements (arsenic, antimony, germanium, etc.) in addition to oxygen and polonium in the VIA group of elements in the periodic table or their own combination. It has the following good properties:
● Far infrared transmittance is more than 64%(wavelength 8μm ~ 12 μm), after coating the transmittance can reach more than 95%.
● Low Tg, Ts temperature, suitable for aspherical lens precision molding, conducive to reducing the production cost of batch lenses.
● Low refractive index temperature coefficient, is an excellent infrared non-thermal lens design material, can achieve no color difference, no thermal defocusing optical system.
